NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative. This position is with our client who are a global leader in power technology.

Assembly Operative:

Rate of pay:    £13.57 p/h holiday pay 
Site:-               Stonehouse, Glos. GL10
Hours: -           7am - 3pm Monday to Friday (overtime paid)
Duration:-       12 month rolling contract

A Quarterly bonus of £150 is paid for full attendance.

The Assembly Operative work will typically be done manually or by using light hand tools.

Duties include: 

• Correct use of machinery and equipment on the shop floor
• Ability to read diagrams and instructions for assembly of products, systems, and panels.
• Conduct all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final product.
• Soldering, wiring up and general bench assembly of small components.

Background:

• You should have prior assembly experience, ideally electronic assembly
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Good timekeeping, reliability and attendance required
