Context and missions:
Rotation Status.
Position Onshore in an Onshore Receiving Facility
He is responsible for maintenance operations within his field of competence.
He guarantees a good level of availability of the equipment on SITE.
He plays a predominant role in the transfer of skills to personnel undergoing training and development by mentoring on SITE.
Main activities:
Organizes on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility, by his supervisor.
Assists the Supervisor in planning the daily task by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
Ensures that COMPANY's HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility, as assigned by his Supervisor.
Lead Helpers and other technicians to execute interventions for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment placed under his responsibility, as may be delegated by his Supervisor.
Carries out, at the Supervisor request, any intervention within his field of competence.
If delegated, follows up with 3rd party contractors to ensure execution of their scope, safely and returning equipment available afterwards.
Ensures daily department operations log and records.
Specific activities:
Ensure that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams and actively participates in the OJT /assessment program.
Identify any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
Keep a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and, if need be, suggest improvements.
Can be part of Emergency Response Team.
Organize the site rotational assignment.
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
Higher National Diploma or or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
6 to 10 years' experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations.
A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
Mechanical Specific:
Mechanical equipment's, including but not limited to; pumps (various), valves (various), Diesel & Gas Engines, Compressors (Air, Screw, Gas, Centrifugal, Nitrogen, Reciprocating).
