About the Job
The Site HSE Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental training programs at the site. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, promotes a culture of safety, and enhances the overall HSE performance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for site personnel, including new hire orientation, refresher courses, and specialized training.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities and certifications.
- Collaborate with site management to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the investigation of incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the site.
About You

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in HSE training and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in HSE (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Experience in a similar industry or environment.
