- Maintain QHSE expert knowledge on best practices and legal requirements.
- Secure QHSE conformity using agreed processes and legal registers.
- Support and promote development and use of management systems.

- Maintain successful cooperation/collaboration with QHSE stakeholders.
- Demonstrate high work ethic and professional behavior.
- Report reliable and timely QHSE data.
- Demonstrate an analytical and structured approach to daily workload.
- Drive and promote a proactive QHSE culture through leading by example, using data, raising awareness, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned (registration and implementation).
- Promote data-driven risk management through a proactive reporting culture and high-quality data management.
- Support ongoing development, implementation, and use of systems, procedures, instructions, and associated QHSE documentation, including:
- Instructions, procedures, contingency plans.
- QHSE Management system/process landscape, site assurance plans.
- Global/local Emergency Response/Crisis Management.
- Audit/compliance checks (ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001).
- Safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks, hazid/hazop workshops.
- Review of documentation/Risk Assessments, JHAs, SWI, Lift plans, and incident reports.
- Monitoring and assessment of internal/external QHSE compliance and performance using incident reporting tools for reporting and trend analysis.
- Coordinate and report safety inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and report derived observations, risks, and lessons learned.
- Provide ad-hoc support as requested.

- English language skills required.
- Relevant academic or technical background.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience with QHSE, ideally from relevant industries.
- Excellent people skills, effective communication, and presentation skills.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office package, knowledge of Synergi is an advantage).
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with 3rd party contractors in relation to QHSE.
- Required IT equipment will be supplied.
- The consultant must provide an iPhone 6 or newer model, or a Windows phone 8.1 where the Client's AirWatch app can be installed. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by Client staff (including consultants) to protect them from cybercrime.
- Mobile phone including subscription/plan provided by the consultant.
- QHSE degree qualification on Diploma or BS level.
- Completed NEBOSH; ASP/CSP level, or similar recognized (Q)HSE qualification.
- Internal Auditor (preferred but not essential).
- Accident Incident Investigation qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Delivery of training courses/material.
- Variation in the work pattern is likely to occur and flexibility is required.
- The norm is a 5-day week, 10-hour days.
- The work week can extend pending options for rotations and night shift coverage.
- Project-relevant commute within the scope of work is the responsibility of the consultant.
- Travel pattern/destinations other than normal work location to be aligned with Work Manager(s)/Line Manager.
- Flights and hotels booked and managed via travel services where possible.
