Through our focus on introducing new technologies and drilling additional wells in the region, we have been able to extend our assets lifespans and maximise our output. THE OPPORTUNITY – SENIOR MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

While you will report to the Maintenance & Modifications Manager, you will direct the Asset team to ensure that safe and efficient first-time execution of major planned and corrective work scopes through effective onshore preparation. You will drive increased focus on work management, preparation, scheduling, and execution of scopes of work within GMA.
Manage the creation of packaged up scopes of work and in doing so, driving reduction in backlog and maximising equipment outages.
You will act as a focal point to ensure that we are maximising efficiency which enables an increase in overall scope delivery KPI’s which include safety, cost, schedule and plan attainment, elimination of re-work, backlog and deferral reduction.
This is an office-based role in our Hoofddorp offices, on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office, 2 at home (office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). There will be occasional offshore trips required in line with business needs.

AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT…
Once in role, you will be accountable for:
  • Act as SAP focal point within the Asset team.
  • Liaise with the technical function with ongoing and future CMMS improvement scopes.
  • Manage the Asset scheduler on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that schedule attainment KPIs are achieved.
  • Ensure that the scheduling process is always adhered to.
  • Ensure that best in class vendor management behaviors are in place within the asset team.
  • Manage the discipline specific 3M lookahead sessions, thus ensuring improved gate readiness and work preparation.
  • Manage the monthly compliance tracker, ensuring alignment among onshore and offshore when managing compliance (KPI).
  • Take on role of JRE for certain ‘regular’ vendor scopes of work.
  • NUI Maintenance Support
  • Ensure that the NUI schedules are issued in a timely manner.
  • Drive the NUI IOIM and maintenance teams in visit wash ups, i.e. work requiring deferral, close out or rescheduling.
  • Direct NUI maintenance lead engineer in terms of asset priorities and areas of focus.
  • Ensure that the annual NUI burden is known and shared with management.
  • Prepare and issue maintenance reports on a weekly & monthly basis.
  • Backlog reports
  • Deferral report
  • Chair maintenance-related meetings with the job-responsible engineers to ensure suitable action plans are in place to drive the reduction in backlog and deferrals.
  • IVB Support
  • Work with the asset verification engineer and JREs to ensure timely close out of findings.
  • Asset Vulnerabilities
  • Manage the Asset vulnerability tracker and ensure data is correct for bi-weekly review meeting.

ABOUT YOU
You’ll need to be educated to a degree level or alternatively have the relevant experience and technical qualifications. You will have significant experience in operations and maintenance environments offshore. You will have experience of working with SAP.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Educated to degree level or alternatively have the relevant experience and technical qualification
  • Significant experience in operations and maintenance environments offshore
  • Experience in role of, or with the capability to undertake role of shift supervisor
  • Working experience of SAP
  • Working experience of P VIsion an advantage
  • Provide details of any regulatory requirements the role-holder must satisfy
  • Maintain Asset Specific ERT
  • Capable of achieving IOIM status / certification and maintaining
  • All clients mandatory training as requested, including Compliance training usually provided annually.
