Are you ready to play a key role in preparing for major capital projects? We’re seeking a motivated Operational Readiness Specialist to join our Readiness Team and be the vital link between Project Execution and Site Operations.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
  • Act as the operations interface between ECPM, Project Managers, and Operations & Maintenance teams
  • Coordinate operational support during project walk-downs and commissioning activities
  • Facilitate and develop technical documentation for Operator Training and Task Execution
  • Review and update existing Operator Training & SWP documentation
  • Assist with maintenance SWI documentation creation
  • Analyse OEM manuals and technical drawings to enhance documentation
  • Participate in PM & parts review sessions, contributing valuable insights
  • Raise MDM (Material) requests for specialised PPE
  • Organise operational recruitment and site inductions
  • Manage isolation and permitting requirements
  • Oversee operator familiarisation sessions and walkthroughs
  • Ensure chemical SDS are reviewed and uploaded to Chemalert
  • Support commissioning team coordination and planning

Desirable Experience & Skills:
âś… Operator (Process) or similar experience at a similar site
âś… Working knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
✅ Understanding of Newmont’s safety systems and standards
âś… Confident verbal and written communicator

  • Oracle (Construction Project Management Software)
  • Smartsheet (Project Management Software)
  • SAP Planning & Material Data, including MDM process
  • SWI/SWP online documentation tools
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • NAVISWORKS 3D Software
  • Facilitation & stakeholder communication
