About the Role:
Kariera Group recruitment services are actively seeking a visionary and commercially astute Project Director to lead the full lifecycle of major onshore EPC projects across the Middle East. This high-impact role is responsible for overall project strategy, execution, client engagement, and delivery excellence in alignment with business and stakeholder objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership for end-to-end project execution, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance
- Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are exceeded
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, project controls, and commercial functions
- Ensure adherence to EPC contractual obligations and drive robust change and claims management
- Implement and oversee risk management strategies and business continuity planning
- Drive a high-performance culture, promoting innovation, operational excellence, and accountability
- Support business development and strategic planning activities for future project wins
Requirements:
- 15+ years of proven experience delivering large-scale EPC projects as a Project Director or equivalent
- Extensive experience with onshore project delivery, particularly in the energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors
- Previous exposure to mega projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is highly desirable
- Strong commercial, contractual, and leadership capabilities with a strategic mindset
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management; MBA or PMP certification is a plus
- Experience working with international contractors and complex stakeholder environments
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Arabic language proficiency is advantageous but not essential
