We are currently seeking a Project IT Delivery Manager to join our team based in Houston, TX.

About the Job
  • The Digital Partner for Business Projects is responsible for Houston business projects including the attached construction sites. He/She coordinates the design and build of IT execution plan from the proposal phase to the EPC phase including the project close-out.
  • The manager provides all the project required deliverables in the required timeframe for the business project including:
  • Narratives
  • Contractual requirements
  • Construction sites design and setup
  • Manhour and cost Budget
  • Reporting

Position Duties
  • Review projects contractual requirements,
  • Review project schedule and budget.
  • Review the Project organization such as the operating centers, the partners, the main sub-contractors, etc. and the corresponding split of work, responsibilities and interfaces.
  • Review the Project execution plan in coherence with the planning.
  • This review will result in the specification and selection of the IT resources and tools to implement in order to fit the objectives of the Project in terms of delay, cost, performance, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement the Project IT Plan, to follow up its implementation,
  • The IT Plan implementation is based on an Action Plan. The actors, the objects to be delivered, the acceptance criteria if any and the schedule are detailed.
  • Elaborate and follow-up the budget for IT activities during the Project life cycle.
  • Provide the Project with the required IT tools and resources, ready for use at the right time as well as at optimized costs.
  • Issue to the Project Management the monthly or weekly reports, regarding the IT actions done and to be done, as well as any area of concern.
  • Assist the Project Control to implement the accounting of the IT resources. A particular attention is required for the JV organizations to clearly define the scope and the limits of responsibility, as well as the chargeable and non-chargeable items (direct costs and man-hours).
  • Ensure Cybersecurity and enterprise architecture processes and procedures are followed and implemented.
  • Take part and help in the digitalization of processes on business projects and assist their adoption.
  • Coordinate the construction site setup and support its whole lifecycle

About You

Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Educational/Professional:
  • Bachelors degree in technology, Computer Science or related field (required)

Knowledge/Skills:
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Engineering projects.
  • I.T. Project Management
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Solid oral and written communication skills in English
  • Team and process-oriented spirit
  • Energy Industry experience
  • Knowledge of Technip Energies business activities and organization
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerBI or equivalent reporting tool (nice to have)

Experience:
  • 3 years of professional experience in IT Management
  • 5+ years of experience working in large-scale IT organizations.
  • Experience managing multinational, multi-cultural teams (desirable).

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines while maintaining flexibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to document and communicate complex concepts in a user-friendly and audience-appropriate fashion, to all levels of the organization from line level to management and executive teams.
  • Excellent skills leading and facilitating meetings via video/audio conferencing or other means of electronic communication.
  • Proven interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required, including excellent customer relationship skills.
