ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - CONTRACT - SURREY
Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currentlylooking for an Environmental Engineer to join the team based in Surrey with some visits to Teesside.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Education: BEng or BSc majoring in environmental or similar
- Experience: 10 years in offshore and onshore projects
- Certification: ISO 140001 Lead Auditor
JOB SCOPE
As Environmental Engineer you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards. You will join our NEP project (Northern Endurance Partnership and Net Zero Target Project).
Responsibilities:
- Develop construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities
- Manage Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements
- Supervise the activities of the Environmental coordinator
- Interface and work with Company
- Coordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal company’s departments and relevant external stakeholders
- Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental Investigations
- Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and data
RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly or daily rate you would be looking for.
DURATION: Start ASAP.
WORK PATTERN: Hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days working at home.
