NES Qatar is hiring for Electrical Engineer Lead role with a leading oil & gas client—direct hire position.

The primary responsibility of this role is to function as Discipline Lead and Technical Authority (TA2), providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of discipline engineers on Project. Lead and manage the CONTRACTOR's work and team for the successful execution of the Project and to achieve the required technical quality and integrity of work while considering project objectives in terms of safety, time and cost. Review and approve deliverables.

Key Requirements:

1. Demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, switchgear, transformers, power management systems, electrical system controls, power distribution control, large Motors)
2. Familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.
3. High voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
4. Employment History to include International Operating Companies (IOCs) and EPC Contractors.
5. Experienced in FEED and EPIC Oil & Gas Projects.
6. Proficiency / knowledge of International Standards, Shell DEPs in area of Electrical Engineering.
7. Demonstrated experience in managing discipline planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet project timelines and budgets.
8. Strong understanding of project management (Certificates such as PMP is desired).
9. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on effective project execution and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Discipline Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or post graduate qualification in specialized engineering discipline, is preferred.
• 20 Years relevant post graduate experience, out of which 10 years in Oil & Gas industry with five years of proven leadership roles.
• Shell Technical Authority Level 2 (TA2), Equivalent, or eligible to receive TA2 designation (upon passing the interview)
