Role Overview

As an Electrical Technical Advisor, you will provide expert support on the electrical systems of Siemens V94.2 gas turbines. You will lead troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning, and upgrade activities, ensuring high reliability and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning for Siemens V94.2 gas turbines and associated auxiliary systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults on-site, including generator systems, excitation, protection, and control panels.
• Supervise and mentor field service teams and subcontractors during site activities.
• Advise customers on electrical upgrades, modifications, and best practices to enhance turbine performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, inspection reports, and recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality standards during all site activities.
• Support technical proposals and scope development for electrical service projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Significant hands-on experience with large industrial gas turbines (preferably Siemens V94.2) and their electrical systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection logic.
• Strong knowledge of generator excitation, protection relays, and electrical commissioning.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments.
