Job Title: On-the-Job Training (OJT) Instructor
Location: Qatar
Industry: Oil & Gas
Experience: 4 years in Oil & Gas Operations, including 2 years in a training capacity
Qualification: HND in Engineering Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality technical training and competency development programs, ensuring Operations Group staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge to operate and maintain company facilities safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery: Design and deliver in-house technical and simulator-based training programs aligned with operational needs.
2. Needs Analysis: Assess training and competency gaps to develop customized classroom and simulator scenarios.
3. On-the-Job Training: Provide hands-on training to Operations and Maintenance staff, including National Trainees and Graduates.
4. Competency Assessment: Evaluate staff through theoretical, practical, and field-based assessments.
5. Onboarding Support: Collaborate with line supervisors to implement effective onboarding programs for new staff.
6. Simulator Training: Conduct and enhance simulator training using plant models and custom troubleshooting scenarios.
7. Project Readiness: Develop training metrics to ensure staff readiness for new project start-ups.
8. Safety Integration: Embed Process Safety and IIF (Incident and Injury-Free) culture into all training modules.
9. Performance Reporting: Prepare training outcome reports and recommend tailored interventions to bridge skill gaps.

Candidate Profile

• Education: HND in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in Oil & Gas Operations, with at least 2 years in a training role.
• Expertise: Strong background in Operations or Maintenance of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Skills: Excellent communication, instructional design, and assessment skills.
