Job Purpose Summary
Provide constructability input to new plant/facility modification projects and managing construction activities within a multi-disciplines and single discipline projects assigned to support Project Engineer/Project Manager in executing the highly critical brownfield construction of CAT IV-VI for Non-Shutdown and shutdown/turnaround related projects from Pre Gate 2 or planning, execution and hand over.

Job Purpose Summary

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Science majoring in Engineering in the area of Specialization. 8 years' experience in the area of specialization within Oil and Gas Environment.
- Computer literate, with advanced knowledge of all relevant engineering software tools, systems and tools.
- Pre-FEED & Work Scoping
Participate in site visits to assess constructability and brownfield conditions. Provide early input on critical lifts, accessibility, and execution planning for the Early Project Execution Plan (EPEP). - Safety Oversight
Review contractor SHE plans, lead safety walks, and support incident investigations (e.g., TapRoot). Monitor safety performance and incentive programs. - Design & Risk Reviews
Contribute to constructability reviews and site verifications. Identify key execution risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned with the Risk Assessment Plan. - Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards. Oversee inspection methodologies and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) at fabrication shops. - Project Reviews & Lessons Learned
Participate in Independent Project Reviews and Cold Eye Reviews. Capture and apply brownfield execution best practices. Manage Construction Interface Agreements and eMOCs. - Commissioning & Close-Out
Confirm mechanical completion and readiness for commissioning or handover. Approve As-Built drawings and ensure all deliverables and interface agreements are closed. - Construction Management
Oversee fabrication and erection sequences with a focus on SIMOPS and safety. Manage both shutdown and non-shutdown construction activities onshore and offshore. - Contractor Performance
Evaluate contractor performance using key metrics. Conduct site verifications and recommend corrective actions based on labor, equipment, and procedural assessments. - Equipment & Logistics Planning
Identify and ensure availability of major equipment, tools, and accommodations (e.g., hot tap machines, offshore barges, labor camps). Plan for temporary storage and logistics. - Scheduling & Risk Mitigation
Develop and analyze project schedules, identify critical paths, and propose mitigation strategies for risks like weather, heat index, and site access. Benchmark against industry norms. - Tendering & Vendor Management
Co-develop ITT documents and manage vendor prequalification and selection. Ensure compliance with technical, commercial, and SHE requirements.
