Job Summary:

• The Material Handler will be responsible for transporting heavy parts and materials throughout the facility utilizing a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Move fragile parts and warehouse materials throughout the site.
• Follow pre-determined routes for material movement.
• Manage crate and box inventory.
• Deliver and manage scrap parts inventory.
• Visually inspect repaired parts for handling damage and receive them per process.
• Crate and box parts utilizing a foam machine, saw and other tools.
• Ability to pack/unpack crates, boxes, and pallets.
• Maintain inventory of wooden and plastic pallets as well as various crates; store and stack them neatly, deliver as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1-2 year experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard
• Ability to operate a forklift rated for over 15k lbs.
• Able to work outdoors, year-round, in a variety of weather conditions.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
• Capability to actively work on multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to be certified in crane and rigging operations.
