Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Asset Planner, based in Aberdeen.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the delivery of executable integrated activity plans for the Triton asset.
  • Acts as focal point for the Constrained Activity Plan (CAP), liaising with Maintenance Schedulers and POB Logistics Co-ordinators.
  • Responsible for the prioritisation of activities in alignment with Triton Asset Management directives and guidance.
  • Reports progress of plans and identifies and communicates opportunities and threats, reactively and proactively.
  • Accountable to maintain, deliver and monitor an Integrated Primavera plan, ensuring alignment of Maximo work activities and schedules.
  • Responsible for the issue of the 24-Month, 28-day & 90-day Constrained Activity Plan (CAP) plans, histograms and S curves as required. Integrates & liaises with Financial Plans as part of the Financial Planning Process.
  • Integrate 3rd party plans into Asset Plans where required.
  • Custodian of the asset planning process, ensuring the system and procedures are suitable and robust. Responsible for procedural updates and amendments.
  • Liaise with onshore Operations Manager ensuring scopes of work are clearly defined in respect of any impact to platform operations and support requirements.
  • Liaise with Vendors, OEMs and SPAs to ensure timely confirmation and mobilisation of vendor reps/ technicians as detailed in the integrated activity plan (IAP).
  • Liaise with platform Leadership team and support engineers on Asset issues to understand priorities, interactions and dependencies between activities.
  • Provide any schedules or services that onshore and offshore personnel require to control, monitor and forecast work within their group.
  • Chairs periodic planning meetings, managing ToR and delivering the action register.
  • Accountable for ensuring that all scopes meet Plan Entry Criteria (PEC) with SPA.
  • Produce monthly planning report for constrained activities inclusive of KPI data.
  • Build and develop CAP KPI dashboards, co-opting IS resources and appropriate.
  • Interact with subsea personnel and partners with regard to vessel movements.
 
 
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Technical Degree/HNC or equivalent engineering qualification
  • Significant experience in an operating oil & gas company or complex operations environment, preferably with a major oil and gas operator. FPSO experience desirable
  • Solid experience of petroleum production operations and experience in a planning role
  • Experience with MS Office packages and competent in the use of planning software systems (Primavera P6 experience is essential)
  • Problem solving capacity with the ability to undertake structured assessments of operational issues
  • Industry specific knowledge of systems, organisation, procedures and regulatory body requirements
  • Shutdown and project planning experience is desirable
  • Ability to focus on results and delivery
  • Ability to demonstrate clear and analytical thinking
  • Exemplar verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills
  • Effective relationship builder and influencer at all levels, both internally & externally
  • Highest standards of ethical and professional behaviour, consistent with the company’s values for safety, respect and integrity
  • Solid working knowledge and proven application of relevant UK industry regulations and practises relating to the oil and gas industry
  • Sound working knowledge and demonstration of safe working practices
  • Appropriate familiarity with quality processes and the ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills. Proven ability to interact effectively at all organisation levels and encourage a team ethos across both core team and subcontractors
  • Ability to understand and respond effectively to the requirements of diverse groups and operations
  • Culturally sensitive and utilises all the tools available to drive constant improvement
