In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are
looking for a Project and Contract Engineer .
The candidate will be charge of :

  • Plan, organize, and manage Projects.
  • Consolidate and monitor project performance indicators.
  • Overall monitoring and quality control of the work (budget, planning, personnel performance) and regular reporting on project status.
  • Preliminary analysis of cost-benefit relationships of the projects, as well as financial reports for submission to the Head of Technical Department, Methods Service, and Superintendent.
  • Ensure the faithful execution of projects and contracts by all parties, according to clauses, standards, and current laws, and promptly alert the Head of Technical Department, Methods Service, and Superintendent of any consequences of partial or total non-compliance.
  • Formalize the service know-how, scope of works, or technical specifications.
  • Participate in tenders and evaluation of technical proposals, in the drafting of the specifications.
  • Maintain TotalEnergies' image on the sites.
  • Comply with regulations.
  • Properly manage contract execution and support decision-making to meet needs in a planned manner (avoiding emergencies) and without unnecessary delays, ensuring transparency in process organization and preventing corruption.
  • Strengthen the technical and administrative capabilities of the Service to ensure decent and safe living and working conditions at the company's facilities.
  • Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance policies.
  • Achieve an ideal level of safety and protection for property and people.
  • Rigorous and systematic management of Framework Contract objects, verifying their specifications, established deadlines, and other defined obligations.
  • Focal point between Technical Managers (from the Department) and the service provider, actively participating in the optimization of contractual and financial aspects, ensuring process quality.
  • Constant alerts to the Head of Department and Methods Service about any anomalies within the contract.
  • Jointly prepare with the Superintendent the tender documents (scope of works, cost estimates, DA's or JSS's), as well as the definition of technical evaluation criteria for tenders (public or restricted) in cooperation with the Procurement and Contracts Entity (ACT).
  • Organize and keep updated the tracking board of all works, data, and information on the status of the contracts under their management;
  • Administer the contract by estimating "consumption" during the validity of the contract, to support spending planning and budget execution;
  • Prepare regular statistics monitoring contract costs under their management, whenever requested.

* Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Architecture, with progressive and relevant professional experience in contract management (real estate maintenance/civil construction); minimum of 8 years of professional experience.
* Strong technical, supervision, and project management skills.
* Strong autonomy and sense of responsibility; ability to analyze and manage priorities.
* Strong organizational, planning, and precision skills, proactivity, availability, and active listening to client needs;
* Good interpersonal skills both internally and externally, ability to work in a project-mode team.
* Leadership skills (assigning responsibilities and guiding the team);
* Proficient in IT tools.
* Languages: Portuguese essential; French and English desirable
