NES are looking to recruit for a Fabrication Proposal Engineer Services on a 12-month contract based South West Paris, France for our EPC client.

Rate: € negotiable depending on experience
 
Key Responsibilities

• Bid Analysis: Analyse ongoing bids and projects, particularly focusing on fabrication yards and project costs
• Interfacing: Interface with various internal and external functions to gather necessary information and ensure the proposal meets all requirements
• Database Management: Build and maintain a reliable database of ratios and data for future bids
• Competences relevant to Fabrication of Subsea Structures items (structure, piping, E&I, QJ Plant): FLET/PLET, mudmats, ILT, LBL Array, LBMS....
• Follow Offshore SURF Fabrication Bid Activities: cost estimate consolidation, ensure an effective analysis of ongoing Bids / Projects with reference to Fabrication Yards and Fabrication Project costs.
• Interface with other function/disciplines and preparation of the technical proposal, manhours preparation, schedule preparation, workload analysis relevant write-up and qualification.

Technical Proficiency:
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CNC Programming, MIG/TIG Welding
 
Project Management:
Cost Estimation, Scheduling Risk Analysis
 
Software Skills:
Microsoft Office: Proficiency in tools like Excel, Word, and Project.
MATLAB
 
Communication and Negotiation:
Technical Writing: Ability to write clear and detailed technical proposals.
Negotiation: Skills to negotiate terms and conditions with clients and suppliers.
English Language mandatory
 
Analytical Skills:
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
