We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our tier 1 mining client on a 5-month contract, based in Perth CBD.

Description:

• Support the month-end financial statement close process for multiple global business units, including preparation of high-quality balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare accounting entries to reflect the funding of international subsidiaries
• Prepare accounting entries to record international payroll
• Perform accounting for regular bank clearing
• Prepare accounting entries to record monthly bonus accruals
• Prepare monthly credit card accruals
• Prepare indirect tax accounting for international subsidiaries
• Contribute to the development of a robust framework of financial controls, including identification of process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CA/CPA qaulification
