Site Overview:

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India's defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India's aerospace ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure an uninterrupted supply of Mechanical Commodity incl. Sheet Metal, Panels, Bus Bar etc. materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
• Responsible for Material fulfillment for assigned material group/Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum. Be responsible for raw material scheduling, procurement follow up and expediting .
• Support NPI efforts of Drives and Controls COE for serial production fulfillment.
• Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
• Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements
• Maintain data accuracy in respective Sourcing tools ( ERP, Workflows, resolving invoice issues with Accounts Payable Team), internal Libraries, etc.)
• Communicate and resolve issues with GE Logistics , Custom COE
• Co-ordination for On time Supplier payment
• Conduct daily walks on the floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues
• Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material
• Provide supply analysis data and recommendations as necessary. Provide fulfillment update
• Creation of Sales orders for Cabinet and Modules, Run the ASCP report
• Logistics and Transporter Co-ordination for Export shipment - Cabinet and Modules
• Co-ordination with Dispatch team till shipment execution
• Document compliance for Export shipment - Cabinet and Modules, P tags on export shipment.
• Support tool development for prediction of material issues
• Support all lean activities, initiatives, and action workouts
• Support vendor recovery with SQE and Finance

Ideal Candidate:

Someone with engineering background with Min 3 years of exp in material planning and procurement (Import/Local) having exposure into MRP Function and SCM

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Min 3 - 5 years of experience in Material Planning
• Industry - Automobile, organization repetitive manufacturing system
• Casting, Sheet Metal, Tubes, Machines, Machine forging
• B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Electronics
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
