As a Document Control Specialist II, you will be responsible for the Oracle induction process for the Service (SVC) organization. This includes inducting newly purchased parts needed by the LSS organization and setting up internally manufactured parts in Oracle manufacturing orgs. You will also be responsible for setting up all the attributes for a part to be sold by LSS, as well as updating and maintaining org level attributes specific to the service org.

You will be responsible for updating and maintaining org level attributes specific to the service org. This includes but is not limited to updating buyer and planner information for purchasing when buyer changes are made or a part is resourced to a new supplier, updating lead times, updating weights and dimensions weekly as new parts are received, maintaining CCG2 codes, minimums, and fix lot multipliers. There are currently 455k unique items in the SVC org in varying statuses.

Another important aspect of your role is assisting various departments, including purchasing, parts sales, order entry, parts operations, supply chain, engineering, and order fulfillment, with questions related to part set up, origin data, phaseout status, and other inquiries. This may require close collaboration with engineering, sourcing, and other internal departments.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for entering engineering issues into Jira for item maintenance of parts used in bill of materials or engineering items.

Responsibilities
  • Utilizing established Oracle PIM induction and pricing processes for items being entered into the SVC Induction Log.
  • Acting as an Oracle Expert, providing support for Oracle IT-related issues, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other Oracle-related tasks.
  • Advising Manufacturing on shop questions, Jira Tickets Questions, BOM structure questions, and other related inquiries for all product lines.
  • Handling Inventory tasks such as managing Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), First Level Material (FLM), Safety Stock, and IRIS Requests.
  • Conduct data pulls for various purposes, including Sales History, Large Price Quotes, and other data-related needs.
  • Perform data loads to update Oracle attributes, such as Descriptions, Inactivations/Reactivations, Categories (Product Line, ICC), and other relevant information.
  • Working with Engineering on manufacturing item induction and maintenance.
  • Establishing and maintaining necessary item attributes for parts inducted in Oracle SVC org.
  • Assisting customer service, purchasing, and other internal departments with part set up and induction related questions.
  • Proactively setting up parts that show up on the weekly SVC audit report and have been deemed as spares by engineering.
  • Implementing recommended process changes and leading the team on special project assignments.


MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Assist with generating large quotes that involve customer data, including matching Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPNs), IGS Part Numbers, formatting, and other requirements.
  • Supporting KPI Reporting by gathering data and contributing to the creation of the Weekly Purchasing KPI sheet.
  • Participating in Value Stream mapping and Process Improvement initiatives, specifically for USS (United States) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) regions.
  • Addressing all parts-related questions from various departments, including SVC warehouse, Warranty team, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Order Entry, and more.
