Program Summary

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, provides principal administrative/secretarial support in an office. Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the supervisor and staff. Performs varied complex clerical and secretarial duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the office.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Performs various administrative projects/assignments for department.
  • Maintains internal systems and procedures to enhance operating efficiencies, in support of operating objectives.
  • Prepares and analyzes data, such as budget/cost estimates, contract specifications, flow charts, labor hour estimates, and/or field operating funds according to preformatted procedures.
  • Maintains department/site databases and statistical spreadsheets.
  • Assists in the administration of a fiscal management system including financial planning and budgeting.
  • May conduct physical inspections of equipment, track/maintain inventory records and prepare related reports.
  • May maintain personnel records for department/site including leave records, salary actions, expense reports, etc. ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to coordinate and track high volume international travel;
  • Coordinate administrative aspects of overseas physicals and medical records;
  • Highly Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Highly proficient with Access Data bases for tracking and monitoring;
  • Ability to work independently, receiving a minimum of detailed supervision, guidance and/or instruction.
  • General knowledge of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 10 years directly related experience.
  • U.S. Citizen.
