Wood is currently looking for a Receptionist (contract) to provide a high quality front of house service to staff and visitors. This position is part-time, up to 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday working in our Green Park, Reading office.
The Role
The role provides Reception support to the Wood office. You will be involved in many different things day to day such as welcoming visitors, managing incoming calls, arranging transport and managing stationary requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- To welcome and check-in all visitors
- Answering internal and external calls in a professional and courteous manner
- To assist staff and visitors with any requests/queries
- Arrange couriers via DHL
- Order stationery and sundries
- Logging of equipment and stock control of stationery
- Arrange transport as required for visitors and staff
- Purchasing and reconciliation of invoices
- Recording of IT Peripherals
- Maintain the reception area to a high standard of presentation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a receptionist, or experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Reliability, efficiency and adaptability
- Excellent telephone manner, personable and friendly customer service skills
- Professional, adaptable and understanding approach to a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Self-starter / pro-active approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, Excel, Teams and Outlook required
- Flexibility to cover normal business hours (0730-1700) as required
