JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller for our client Dubai Petroleum Energy for 12 months assignment (with a possibility of an extension) in Dubai within our Operations EMEA business.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based full time at client office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver project document control against project procedures for internal and external design, vendor documents, and project correspondence
- Comply with the Company Records Management for Controlled and non-Controlled documents.
- Undertake transactional activities, project filing, archiving and handover preparation
- Maintain paper and electronic document flow within project team, and from / to contractors or vendors
- Support the use of document "team working areas" for uncontrolled documents and sharing.
- Maintain the Doc Control Systems
- Prepare document performance reports (status, progress and forecast)
- Support the external document control contractors (e.g. bulk loading, document reclassification)
- Perform training and mentoring whenever required
QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
- Document Controller with minimum of 5 years of Document Control experience in the Oil and Gas industry, either with an EPC contractor or operator.
- Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems, preferably Live link, ASSAI and Document Control Processes.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel.
- Set up, copy, scan & file of documents, both physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
- Proficient typing and editing skills.
The ability to prioritize workload.
- Ability to work in an organized way and within time constraints as instructed by Superiors.
- Assist in preparing and managing documentation internally/externally.
- Ability to function in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
