Job Summary:
We are looking for anOutside Sales Sr. Engineer/Asst. Manager with a broad experience within process industry and automation projects to cover the following categories: Life Cycle Sales Portfolio, Ovation Control System, and Industrial Software Solutions. Reporting to the Lifecycle Service Sales Leader, you will be leading for all sales activities of designated install base customers across India, covering North region, to achieve the agreed sales, bookings, strategic targets for the designated product lines and solutions.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Hold detailed knowledge of DCS, PLC, Asset Management system, RTU, SCADA and having prior knowledge of Install Base Sales & Solution selling to Develop & implementing sales strategies for Life cycle Sales at Install base customers
- Earlier experience in dealing with power plant customers, automation concepts and appropriate interpretation of requirements
- Owning of Induvial booking /Regions POR/ Target
- Responsible for Installed Base Sales (Life Cycle Service Sales) for North region. Achieve budgets for incremental Business.
- Target existing install base customers with various solution offerings like Evergreen Programs, Upgradation/Migration and Expansion leads/pursuits. Work closely with Region's Leadership, Industrial Software Solutions, Lifecycle Sales services.
- Lead generation build funnel and convert into orders for Sophisticated Solutions like MHM, Cyber Security, Simulators and Industrial Software solutions etc.
- Preparing optimum techno commercial quote in consultation with proposals team within defined period
- Technical presentations and Demos at customer locations.
- Competitive displacement of Offsite and another Non-Ovation Control System in existing /Install base customer campus.
- Ensure effective communication with customers, employees, and internal teams
- Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards
- Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to drive customer happiness

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience in technical sales and solution sales at install base customers, development & engagement with strong experience of working & customer engagements in the entire region.
- Excellent knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System.
- Proficient in PC skills and application software like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
- Understanding of project life cycle from concept to commissioning.
- Understanding of customer need and translating it into technical solution.
- Analytical problem solver with excellent Communication, presentation, interpersonal and prioritization skills; well-organized and detail oriented.
- Excels at self-managing workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet the landmarks.
- Ability to optimally interact with all levels of the organization to meet landmarks.
- Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal partners and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to handle these optimally.
- Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
- Exposure of working in matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (more than 50% of the time)
