Role Overview
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical administrative support to the Plant Leader and leadership team. This role is on-site and involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and supporting operational initiatives to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your work will play a vital role in enabling the team to meet its goals and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar and Coordination: Manage the Plant Leader's schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Prepare agendas, reserve meeting spaces, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Communication Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling emails, calls, and inquiries with professionalism. Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Operational Support: Assist in coordinating facility-wide initiatives, such as consolidating daily status updates from department leaders or tracking progress on critical operational tasks.
- Data and Reporting: Compile and organize data for reports, dashboards, or presentations to support decision-making.
- Meeting and Event Logistics: Arrange logistics for leadership meetings, facility-wide events, or team offsites, including venue setup, catering, and material preparation. Take detailed notes and track action items.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain professional relationships with department heads, suppliers, and team members to support operational needs.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain organized records, process expense reports, track budgets, and manage office supplies or other administrative logistics.
- Problem Anticipation: Proactively identify and address potential issues, such as scheduling conflicts or operational delays, to keep priorities on track.
- Project Assistance: Support the Plant Leader in managing key projects, ensuring timely execution and follow-up.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with computer applications such as SSS, Excel, SAP, and Gensuite
- Ability to perform basic functions in Excel, including navigating files, data input, copy/paste, and sums
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to learn and understand policies, practices, and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
- SAP/ERP experience
