Customs Clearance Officer
Location: Dammam or Jeddah
Nationality: Saudi nationals preferred

Job Purpose
This role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant clearance of import and export shipments across Saudi Arabia. You will manage documentation, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and support smooth cargo movement through ports, airports, and land borders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs declarations in line with national regulations.

• Conduct and support shipment inspections as required.

• Ensure timely release of goods and resolve clearance issues.

• Coordinate daily with freight teams and internal departments.

• Review invoices, packing lists, HS codes, and regulatory documents.

• Report clearance progress, delays, and daily updates to supervisors.

• Liaise with customs authorities, port operators, and inspection bodies.

• Carry out additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Secondary education (Diploma in Logistics advantageous).

• 2–4 years’ customs clearance experience within Saudi Arabia.

• Valid Saudi Customs Clearance Licence.

• Strong understanding of local customs regulations and import/export procedures.

• Experience with generic electronic customs systems.
