Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Materials Administrator (Warehouseman) as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at Habshan Site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Site Materials Administrator (Warehouseman) is responsible for the receipt, storage, control, issuance, and documentation of project materials at site warehouses in compliance with EPCM procedures, ADNOC standards, and HSE requirements, ensuring uninterrupted construction and commissioning activities

RESPONSIBILITIES
Materials Receiving & Inspection
- Receive materials, equipment, and consumables at site in coordination with logistics and procurement teams.
- Verify deliveries against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Notes (DN), and Material Receiving Reports (MRR).
- Perform visual inspection for quantity, damage, and compliance with specifications.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately.
Storage & Inventory Control
- Store materials as per manufacturer recommendations, ADNOC standards, and EPCM procedures.
- Ensure proper segregation of bulk materials, piping, valves, instruments, electrical items, and hazardous materials.
- Maintain accurate bin locations, tagging, and preservation records.
- Monitor shelf life and preservation requirements for critical materials.
Issuance & Documentation
- Issue materials to construction teams against approved Material Issue Slips (MIS).
- Maintain real-time inventory records (manual logs or ERP systems such as SAP).
- Ensure traceability of materials issued to specific work areas or work orders.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with construction, QC, procurement, and planning teams to ensure material availability.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports, shortage lists, and excess material reports.
- Support audits and inspections by ADNOC, EPCM, or third-party auditors.
HSE & Housekeeping
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping as per ADNOC HSE requirements.
- Ensure safe material handling practices, proper stacking, and use of PPE.
- Support site HSE initiatives and toolbox talks
QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:
- Bachelor Degree or High School / Diploma (Technical or Supply Chain preferred)
- Certification in Warehouse or Inventory Management is an advantage
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Warehouseman / Materials Administrator in Oil & Gas EPC/EPCM projects
- Mandatory experience on ADNOC gas processing or similar Middle East oil & gas projects
- Strong knowledge of oil & gas materials (piping, valves, fittings, E&I items)
- Familiar with EPCM workflows and documentation
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural, fast-track project environment
