CHAP are currently seeking a Document Controller. The role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of document control within a project, ensuring that systems, processes, and reporting requirements for both internal and external clients are met through strict adherence to established procedures.

Main Tasks
- Maintaining a comprehensive document control system, inclusive of field systems, to ensure the requirements of any specific project are met.
- Creating document templates.
- Converting information from project teams into user-friendly documents.
- Numbering and labelling documents for identification and reference.
- Scanning, copying and distributing documents to project team members and stakeholders.
- Tracking documents to maintain confidentiality.
- Reviewing documents and making revisions for accuracy.
- Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements.
- Training document specialists and other employees on document systems.
- Remain up to date with all company policies and procedures, industry legislation and guidance applicable to your subject field.
- Responsible for assisting with archiving of project documents ensuring that retained information is in date and relevant.
- To participate in internal audits as directed.
- To be the focal point for all Project documentation, accounting for all documentation received and transmitted.
- Monitoring and reporting of document status by the use of reporting tools.
- Ensuring that Internal Departments produce documentation.
- Provide training on document control system.
- Regular site visits to deliver training.
Qualifications
- Proficient user of Microsoft (MS) Office, Office 365 Word, Excel and PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Relevant business administration qualification.

- Good level of experience in a Document Control role.
- Ability to convey and enforce Document Control services.
- Good understanding of Document Control applications, systems and processes.
- Attention to detail to ensure documents are accurate and made to specifications.
- Filing and organisation skills for document storage.
- Industry-specific technical knowledge, including understanding of industry terms, policies and processes.
Desirable
- Committed to continuous improvement and identification of efficient work methods and processes.
- Good administration skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, maintains positive collaborative relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work with detail and accuracy.
