We are looking for Subcontract Manager Lead for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Paris office, available for short missions in Senegal (Dakar), if needed, based on project requirements

Start Date: September 2024

End Date: February 2026

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Expertise in Subcontracts Management for Construction, preferably in Offshore Oil & Gas projects
• Knowledge of software: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Administration/Management Software (e.g., Jeevan)

Activities:

• The Subcontractor will be responsible for the placement and administration of all subcontracts for the project, based at the Paris office (POC).

The Subcontract Manager will assume the following responsibilities:

• Managing awarded Construction & EPC Subcontracts
• Preparing amendments to the subcontracts
• Receiving and responding to all subcontractor correspondence
• Preparing and updating the Monthly Financial Status Report for each subcontract
• Ensuring that the contractual provisions included in the subcontracts are adhered to by the construction site team
• Preparing and sending Calls for Bid, negotiating, preparing, and awarding local subcontracts while ensuring the application of Compliance requirements
• Following up and managing Variation Requests issued by subcontractors, and evaluating their contractual and financial entitlement according to the procedure outlined in the Construction Guide Document
• Following up and managing Variation Requests initiated by The Client
• Formalizing the settlement of disputes or disagreements to ensure The Client contractual protection until work completion
• Ensuring the collection and consolidation of necessary information for subcontract completion and closure without disputes after work completion
