Position Summary:
The Buyer plays a key role in managing procurement activities, including tracking purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, resolving order-related issues, and supporting internal teams with purchasing needs.

Key Responsibilites: 
  • Solicit quotes and place orders for materials, equipment, or services.
  • Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Address and resolve issues related to shipments, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in billing.
  • Work closely with internal departments to evaluate alternatives, such as sourcing options or production decisions.
  • Keep procurement records organized and up to date in line with company standards.
  • Notify the Procurement Specialist of any significant changes in pricing or market conditions that could affect budgets or operations.
  • Adhere to established procurement guidelines and company policies.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant experience (2–4 years) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with standard procurement tools and practices.
  • Strong background in purchasing or supply chain operations is a plus.
  • Must have a manufacturing background.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
