We are currently expanding our U.S. operations and are looking for a key individual to join our team in Houston.

Position Summary

The Sourcing Lead will be a pivotal role within our growing Houston office. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, optimizing the supply chain, and managing key supplier relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and services. This role is crucial for our operational efficiency and will play a key part in the success of our U.S. expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that align with KK Wind's business objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers. Negotiate and manage contracts to secure favorable terms, and build strong, long-term partnerships.
• Cost & Risk Management: Conduct market analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. Implement risk management strategies to ensure supply continuity.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to understand sourcing needs and ensure alignment with technical specifications and project requirements.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sourcing and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in a sourcing, procurement, or supply chain role, preferably within a global manufacturing or renewable energy company. Experience with contract negotiation and supplier relationship management is a must.
• Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., D365) and procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
