About the role:

Hamad International Airport is seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our team as Senior Procurement Specialist (General Procurement) If you passionate about driving value through strategic sourcing and supplier management and can help us to achieve this ambition by:

• Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support strategic procurement decisions, optimize sourcing strategies, and drive continuous improvement within the procurement process.
• Lead complex procurement initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Develop and lead supplier managed inventory engagements, ensuring consistency across the enterprise. Identify and develop best-in-class suppliers.
• Participate in process improvement teams by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to streamline procurement workflows and enhance service delivery.
• Analyze spend data, supplier performance, and process metrics through dashboards and reports to monitor procurement KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive innovation across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle by adopting automation tools and process redesign to reduce cycle times and optimize costs.
• Enhance procurement systems, policies, and procedures by conducting gap analyses and benchmarking best practices to improve operational effectiveness.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing procurement data and trend analysis to facilitate accurate financial planning.

Qualifications

About you:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain or a related field
• Experience in procurement software, data analysis tools, market research studies.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms
