About the Role

As Manager Indirect Procurement EMEA, you will own and advance the EMEA Indirect Procurement strategy and roadmap, driving measurable outcomes across systems, contracts, governance, and category programs. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, building a strong operating cadence for spend visibility, supplier performance, and scalable regional contracting frameworks.

You will make an impact in the following ways

  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership (EMEA Indirect): Define, implement, and continuously improve the EMEA indirect procurement roadmap-covering operating model, systems enablement, contracting approaches, and category strategies.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Consolidation: Lead high-impact sourcing initiatives across key indirect categories (e.g., MHE, utilities, IT VAR, MRO, facilities), improving service outcomes, reducing complexity, and unlocking scale benefits.
  • Spend Visibility & Analytics: Build and maintain strong spend transparency and analytical models to improve forecasting accuracy, controls, and decision-making across the indirect spend portfolio.
  • Regional Contracting Frameworks: Design and govern EMEA contract frameworks that balance global leverage with local market requirements, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Procurement Governance & Culture: Embed a proactive procurement culture across EMEA with clear governance, policy adherence, stakeholder engagement, and best-practice execution.
  • Tools, Methods & Process Excellence: Benchmark and implement best-in-class procurement tools, methodologies, and performance routines that increase efficiency and business value.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Establish and continuously improve supplier performance systems, including KPI governance, reviews, and structured improvement plans.
  • Category Development Programs: Initiate and deliver category development projects that produce measurable business impact (cost reduction, service improvement, risk reduction), with clear tracking and stakeholder reporting.

What you will bring

Education
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Experience
  • 7+ years of relevant procurement / strategic sourcing experience in a global or multinational environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including robust analysis, reporting, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Solid experience with BI tools and data-driven decision-making (dashboards, spend cubes, forecasting models).
  • Deep understanding of indirect procurement categories and processes in an international context (compliance, governance, risk management, contracting fundamentals).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills-able to translate complex topics for both operational teams and executive audiences.

Personal Attributes

  • Diplomatic, culturally aware, and effective across functions and hierarchy levels.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a strong team mindset; comfortable working in a metric-driven environment.
