Responsibilities
-Oversee and manage complex procurement packages from inquiry through to delivery.
-Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
-Conduct market screening to identify and maintain knowledge of cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
-Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close collaboration with engineering teams.
-Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, issue purchase orders, and manage contracts.
-Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality standards.
-Professionally manage variations, risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
-Ensure all procurement activities comply with company guidelines, work instructions, and procedures.
-Continuously seek improvements to reduce risks and costs while enhancing delivery quality.
Required expertise
-Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a similar field.
-A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management within the Oil & Gas industry.
-Strong commercial awareness and a structured, efficient approach to work.
-Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
-Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing project needs.
-A high degree of data discipline is preferred.
-Experience with SAP is considered an advantage.
