Practice Plus Group is the UK's leading independent provider of NHS services to patient in Secure Environments - prisons, immigration removal centres (IRCs) and non-custodial services, as well as our Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service - NHS 111, Out-of-Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment Centres (CAS).
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the team, looking after our 2 service lines - Health in Justice and Integrated Urgent Care (IUC).
Primarily working from home, you will ensure that suppliers deliver on their contractual obligations, manage relationships, and oversee the tendering processes. You will be in the office in Theale (Reading) every Tuesday, and be a key part of the wider finance team.
This is a brand new role, created due to to expansion, which you can really make your own!
Hours:
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
Salary:
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our new Procurement Specialist, some of your duties will include:
- Ensure that suppliers are meeting their contractual obligations, investigating any issues and escalating as necessary
- Manage supplier relationships, between Practice Plus Group and the sites that use the service of those suppliers
- Oversee the tendering process - re-tendering, new contracts and any amendments, as well as creating any tendering documents
- Draft contracts based on standards terms and conditions
- Work across the finance division, as well as operations and other areas of the business to ensure service suitability
- Respond to any queries from suppliers, sites and managers

As our new Procurement Specialist, you will:
- Have a Procurement qualification (CIPS) and suitable experience within a Procurement role
- Have a good understanding of the procurement process
- Have knowledge and experience of contracts and negotiating new terms and conditions
- Be able manage multiple supplier relationships
- Have very organised and able to work independently
- Any healthcare knowledge would be beneficial
