Job Description

Global Procurement Officer

As Global Procurement Officer you will be part of the Global Procurement team, with presence in the US and the Netherlands, is part of the diverse Cost Management team which also includes in the discipline Finance Cost Control.

This role requires an enthusiastic, pro-active communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders around the world. You will liaise with suppliers, internal customers and colleagues across various departments to support a wide range of Procurement activities. You operate from a centralized Procurement Hub team, ensuring consistent process and high quality service.

The Procurement Hub is responsible for Supplier Onboarding and Management and ensures operational excellence. The Hub currently supports several EU countries and will expand further in the coming years. Part of the Hub's responsibility is the onboarding of Lease suppliers in which you will work closely with the business of DLL. For Procurement suppliers you will ensure all required supplier assessments are carried out. As this rollout extends to more DLL countries, you will work closely with colleagues from different countries and support your internal customer from different parts of the world. Because Oracle Fusion acts as the source of truth for all Procurement suppliers, the quality and accuracy of system and process management are essential. You quickly familiarize yourself with systems and processes and enjoy structured, detail-oriented work.

As part of the Global Procurement Team, you will work closely with our buyers and support a wide range of purchasing activities. Your tasks will include managing Purchase Order renewals and handling new, straightforward purchase requests. In this position, you support not only procurement activities but also provide guidance and operational business support throughout the entire global organization. This means you will play a key role in driving process consistency and support colleagues across DLL with system, process and supplier-related inquiries.
