Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Process Improvement: Support global business process owners in improving, further developing and adapting the procurement processes (e.g., Tendering, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Contract Management)
• Data & AI Mindset: Collect, clean and analyze procurement data; prepare them for further evaluation; support exploratory analyses and automation use cases (e.g., AI-assisted data preparation, reporting, or content drafting)
• Presentation Creation: create diverse PowerPoint presentations depending on your changing tasks, e.g. for guidelines, reports, training documents
• Internal Communication: Share important announcements with all Procurement colleagues by writing posts in our procurement communication tool
• Change Support: contribute to change initiatives by supporting trainings, stakeholder feedback, content updates (e.g., intranet)

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Enrolled in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Economics or similar
• Experience: Great passion for procurement topic. Some early experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or similar is a plus
• Way of working: Curious, collaborative and service-oriented, while being comfortable engaging with different stakeholders in an international set-up
• Data Skills: Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (data preparation/analysis) and PowerPoint. Interest in applying AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) is a plus
• Language: Fluency in English. German is a plus

Important information:

• Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That's why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
• You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
