Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop new or enhance existing IP license models (for software, hardware, and products), managing the interdependencies between technical and commercial considerations (time-2-contract & time-2-market)
• Responsible for demand planning and the development of a 3rd Party IP strategy, collaborating closely with other functions (e.g., IFX R&D, IFX Business)
• Lead the 3rd Party IP Category globally across IFX Procurement, driving updates to the annual Category Strategy
• Create market-oriented license models, ensuring they are based on state-of-the-art research and technology, while facilitating and encouraging innovation in license models
• Provide technical-commercial decision proposals to Business Lines/Functional Areas, and offer consultation during implementation
• Maintain and instill a sense of urgency in supplier interactions, managing supplier relationships holistically
• Coach and challenge new ideas, actively balancing risks and opportunities, and drive decisions within the scope of work, mentor, share knowledge, and foster talent within the team

If staffed in Villach, the employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Over 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in IP area
• Completion of a relevant 4-year degree, supplemented by subject-specific qualifications, or a completed 4-year degree in a related field
• Proven track in managing multi-stakeholder projects with conflicting targets and timelines
• Deep commercial (and technical) understanding of external IP Sourcing or internal IP Management
• Ability to recognize the impact of one's work and the interdependencies within their area of expertise
• Willingness to develop further skills in Category Management and Global Procurement. Prior experience in Procurement is preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
