Job purpose

As GO Procurement Performance & Transformation Manager, your main objectives are to:
  • Support the development of GO procurement strategy plan
  • Define & track GO Procurement savings delivery and performance
  • Promote & Maintain GO procurement policy
  • Drive GO Procurement Transformation & associated projects (S2C, P2P, Third Party Risk Management - TPRM, ESG...)
  • Ensure smooth and efficient end-to-end procurement processes for AXA GO Business functions & Group Procurement supported by reliable and connected procurement software & tools
  • Define AXA GO data strategy in line with Group strategy
  • Define & drive GO sustainability agenda

Main missions

Your responsibilities include :

GO Procurement transformation
  • Drive procurement transformation to industrialize and simplify our processes whilst ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Participate in AXA GO Transformation Lead Forum
  • Define and lead the strategic transformation of activities and procurement processes for GO with a strong challenge on S2C, P2P and TPRM
  • Lead or coordinate procurement projects for GO as an entity & ensure coordination with different stakeholders & SMEs on these projects
  • Drive business awareness on procurement processes & policies in conjunction with SBPs, procurement categories, Group & GO Performance Team members
  • Support the set-up of the function: implementation of the new organization with separation between Group & GO, Procurement operating model design & evolution (front/middle/back office, onshore/offshore) and review internal processes in a simplification mindset
  • Be very business-oriented to improve AXA GO Procurement experience to all employees by defining sourcing journeys, roles and responsibilities between the different stakeholders

GO Procurement strategy & policy
  • Define GO procurement strategy plan & objectives following Group procurement strategy and company's objectives
  • Refine & deploy GO procurement policy based on Group framework
  • Define regular communication & trainings on procurement strategy & policy if required

GO Procurement processes & tools
  • Ensure smooth and effective GO user experience in all GO procurement processes
  • Continuously seek to improve, adjust & simplify procurement processes for GO based on stakeholders and business partners requirements and feedback
  • Stay connected to market & industry practice to continuously drive for procurement best practices via procurement forums and benchmarking
  • Actively contribute to Group Procurement technology strategy to ensure GO procurement needs are taken into consideration
  • Define procurement tools strategy for GO in line with Group recommendation
  • Drive the implement global & GO procurement tools in line with GO project gating process & forums
  • Drive for end-to-end procurement connected tools and work with IT regarding potential interface if required
  • Define procurement toolkits ensuring GO procurement teams have access to procurement templates, best practices, market data...
  • Seek for innovation and AI driven procurement initiatives leveraging group solutions
  • Volunteer to pilot Group procurement initiatives/studies

GO Data Management & Reporting
  • Drive and enforce data strategy for procurement in GO, aligned to Group Procurement data strategy
  • Trigger data management best practices in specific areas & deploy on wider scope
  • Contribute to structuration of Procurement data model and initiatives to improve data quality
  • Define GO procurement performance indicators to report on effectiveness of teams, procurement policies, procedures & ways of working
  • Monitor performance & drive for improvements

GO Performance
  • Define Procurement 3 year Financial Strategy Plan for main AXA GO contracts
  • Follow-up annual delivery of Strategy Plan with associated savings on quarterly basis
  • Define key performance indicators for GO Procurement in coordination with procurement leads
  • Analyze monthly performance & take required actions for any improvement needed

GO Sustainability agenda
  • Drive the development of GO procurement sustainability strategy in conjunction with Group and drive its enforcement with a specific focus on Carbon & D&I
  • Work in close collaboration with GO Sustainability team on GO Sustainability strategy & ambition
  • Support AXA Digital Sustainability initiatives linked to Sustainable Procurement
  • Secure GO compliance to relevant regulations and operate / monitor implementation of policies, guidelines & reporting (CSRD)
  • Ensure the delivery of regular Responsible Procurement Awareness sessions

Team management

The position manages a team of 6 people:
  • 4 onshore resources based in Paris
  • 2 offshore resources based in India

Moreover, the position is responsible for the supervision of 11 resources from AXA Global Business Services based in Morrocco and India who managed Procurement Back-Office on Procure To Pay.

Stakeholder management

The position develops and maintains professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, especially:
  • Group Procurement Teams
  • Group & GO IT Teams
  • AXA GO business functions
  • AXA GO project & transformation teams
  • AXA GO Sustainability
  • AXA GBS teams
  • Vendors

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience
  • 15+years of professional experience required in procurement and/or consulting
  • Experience working in a matrix & international environment.
  • Experience of presentation to Leadership committees up to Excom

Technical skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Project/program management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement tools & processes
  • Appetence for data & technology and ability to promote them nicely
  • Direct & Indirect management skills to deliver projects efficiently
  • Able to think strategically and challenge the status quo
  • Analytical skills and ability to summarize & communicate on complex topics up to C-levels
  • Both Strategic & Practical, from defining a strategy to hands-on approach to deliver concrete results
  • English - Fluent in speaking and writing

Soft skills / transversal skills
  • Transformation mindset & change management skills to drive & promote changes (simplification, new ways of working, new technologies...)
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to communicate with representatives of different levels of hierarchy (from executives to operational persons) and at ease in an international environment.
  • Energic and resilient with capacity to bounce back when facing challenges
  • Strong team spirit
