Aldar Education is currently seeking an outstanding Procurement Coordinator.

The Procurement Coordinator will provide analytical, operational, and project management support to the Director of Procurement. This role ensures governance, visibility, and structure across procurement operations, supports the Director with data-driven insights, and coordinates departmental workflows. The role acts as the backbone of the procurement function, strengthening reporting, compliance, and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

Main Duties

Procurement Analytics & Insights
  • Maintain dashboards, KPIs, spend analytics, and departmental reports with the support of the ERPs.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly executive summaries for leadership.
  • Support the Procurement Plan process.
  • Maintain data accuracy across ERP and reporting tools.

Procurement PMO (Project Management Office) Support
  • Oversee procurement-wide project timelines, including initiatives.
  • Coordinate project milestones, track progress, and flag risks, delays, or dependencies for the Director.
  • Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring proper document control, versioning, and visibility.
  • Prepare project status updates, steering committee materials, and leadership decks.

Departmental Coordination
  • Act as the central coordination point for the Procurement team, ensuring alignment across procurement initiatives.
  • Support buyers by managing workflow governance (e.g., monitoring deadlines, ensuring documentation completeness, aligning handovers).
  • Facilitate smooth communication between Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Maintain department trackers.

Executive Support to the Director of Procurement
  • Prepare analytical briefings, presentations, and business cases.
  • Manage action logs arising from leadership meetings and ensure timely closure.
  • Support strategic initiatives (e.g., digitalization, policy updates, procurement transformation projects).
  • Coordinate the Director's stakeholder meetings, follow-ups, and internal communications

Procurement Operations Support
  • Support procurement policy updates, risk assessments, and compliance processes.
  • Manage departmental filing, workflows, and internal governance tools

Specific Duties
  • Own procurement analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting, ensuring data accuracy and insight-driven decision-making.
  • Provide PMO oversight for procurement initiatives, including project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Act as the central coordination point for procurement operations, managing workflows, trackers, and cross-functional alignment with Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Deliver executive and strategic support to the Director of Procurement through briefings, action tracking, stakeholder coordination, and transformation initiatives.
  • Support procurement governance and compliance, including policy updates, risk assessments, document control, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.

Minimum Experience
  • 3+ years in procurement support, PMO, analytics, business coordination, or operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, Power BI, reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with procurement process governance and contract lifecycle management.
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle, governance, and audit compliance in a multi-site education environment.
  • Expertise in procurement analytics, ERP reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
  • Skilled in PMO support and project coordination, managing timelines, risks, and documentation.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication across schools, corporate teams, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to translate data into executive insights and maintain robust compliance and governance.
