About Waythrough

Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we've created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England.

Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services - and it's all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.

Make a real difference in your community

Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

About the Role

As an Administrator within the Procurement team at Waythrough, you'll provide essential administrative and operational support, helping the team ensure procurement processes run smoothly and efficiently across the organisation. Working closely with the Procurement Manager and wider colleagues, you'll support document control, systems administration, reporting, content updates and general process coordination. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail focused, and keen to develop their experience within a purpose driven, values led organisation.

Key Duties
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Procurement function, including supporting project tasks and process rollouts.
  • Manage the procurement inbox, responding to routine queries and escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
  • Support the RFQ process when required.
  • Maintain and update the contracts register, ensuring renewals, extensions and terminations are accurately recorded.
  • Ensure procurement documentation is accurately branded, compliant with internal standards, and securely stored.
  • Update and maintain the procurement intranet page, including posting news, guidance, and stakeholder materials.
  • Support collaboration across teams by signposting colleagues to approved suppliers and contributing to standardised ways of working.
  • Contribute to improvements in administrative systems and processes, helping to streamline and standardise workflows.
  • At times, use Workday to access supplier spend data and produce reports.
  • Uphold data protection, governance requirements, and Waythrough's values at all times.

About You

You'll be a proactive and well organised administrator with strong attention to detail and experience working in a busy office or procurement environment. You'll be confident using Microsoft Office, comfortable managing multiple tasks, and able to communicate clearly with a range of internal and external stakeholders. A qualification in business administration (or equivalent experience) is essential, and experience within a public sector procurement team is desirable. Most importantly, you'll share Waythrough's values of kindness, courage and respect, and be motivated by working for an organisation that makes a real difference.

What We Offer

We value the people who make a difference every day. Alongside meaningful work, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package:

  • 27 days' annual leave, rising to 32 after 1 year (plus bank holidays)
  • Pension scheme with 4.5% employer contribution, matched up to 6.5%
  • Life assurance (3× annual salary)
  • Enhanced sick pay and family-friendly pay
  • Birthday leave and the option to buy up to 5 extra days' annual leave
  • Professional fee reimbursement for relevant qualifications
  • 24/7 online GP access and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Recognition and long service awards via our Way to Go and Aspirations portals
  • £500 Recommend a Friend bonus
  • Cycle to Work scheme and Credit Union membership
  • Discounts via Blue Light Card, Charity Discounts, Extras and Tickets for Good
  • Free will writing service and wellbeing initiatives throughout the year
