ROLE AND DEPARTMENT

We're looking for a Global Industrial Category Senior Buyer to join our Global Procurement team. This is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing the global sourcing strategy for the Industrial portfolio, which includes Machines/Equipment, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), Energy, Waste Management, and LME (Light Mobile Equipment).

Reporting to the Manufacturing Procurement Senior Director, you will collaborate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing Sites, Distribution Centers, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Sustainability teams across all regions. Your impact will be seen in driving cost efficiencies, supplier innovation, ensuring suppliers' operational performance (quality & service), risk mitigation, and supporting Coty's sustainability agenda.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing global category strategies for Machines/Equipment, MRO, Energy, Waste Management, and Light Mobile Equipment.

• Leading cross-functional sourcing projects and negotiations to deliver cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation.

• Building and managing a high-performing supplier base, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Partnering with internal stakeholders (procurement, regions, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, sustainability) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

• Monitoring market trends, identifying new opportunities, and proactively managing supply risks.

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and sustainability goals.

• Managing supplier performance, including KPIs, quality, service, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Supporting global and regional projects, including new site launches, technology upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.

• Preparing and presenting category reviews, business cases, and recommendations to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We would love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

• Strong experience (5+ years) in procurement/category management, ideally within industrial, manufacturing environments.

• Proven track record in managing complex global categories and results achievement.

• Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable value.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Master's degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.

• High level of fluency in English (written and spoken).

Desirable:

• Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry.

• Knowledge of sustainability practices and supplier innovation in industrial categories.

• Additional language skills (French, Spanish, or German).

• Experience with digital procurement tools and systems.
