This pivotal role provides essential support to Procurement & Insurance Services and the wider Finance department, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of key university services. As a central point of coordination, you will manage important corporate contracts-such as office stationery, business travel, and Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs)-ensuring best value, consistency, and reliability across the institution.

You will also play a vital part in maintaining the university's financial governance by administering new suppliers and financial waivers, raising purchase orders, and responding to a broad range of procurement-related enquiries. Your work will directly contribute to cost-effective purchasing, strong supplier relationships, and improved service quality across the university, ultimately supporting staff, students, and the wider campus community.

Procurement Services are looking for someone who has:
  • A willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a helpful, confident manner
  • A good working knowledge of IT

This role s offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months, and is full-time (37.0 hours per week), however we welcome applicants that are seeking to job share. This role is also eligible for some remote working inline with our agile working policy .
