The Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring the efficient acquisition of raw materials, components, and parts essential to ARAG's production processes.
You will manage purchasing activities with a focus on cost, quality, and timely delivery, supporting the continuous improvement of the supply chain.

You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and semi-finished goods ensuring availability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Support supplier scouting, qualification, and evaluation activities.
• Negotiate prices, lead times, and purchasing conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, and production departments to align purchasing activities with business needs.
• Analyze data and KPIs using Excel and other procurement tools to drive decision-making.
• Contribute to improving procurement processes, workflows, and supplier performance.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost-saving activities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably within industrial, mechanical, electronic, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in direct procurement: considered a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with solid proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related fields: considered a plus.
• Intermediate (B2) level of English.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and structured approach to problem-solving.
