About the role

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and building positive, trusting relationships across the organisation. As a Procurement Officer in a small procurement team of 3, you'll lead on tendering activity in line with public-sector regulations (PCR15 and PA23) and help colleagues navigate procurement in a friendly, down-to-earth way that fits the culture of social housing. The role is predominantly home-based, giving you the flexibility to work in a way that suits you while still staying closely connected to teams across Aspire. You'll be joining a welcoming, supportive organisation where your public-sector procurement experience and your ability to bring people together will make a real difference

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll bring solid public-sector procurement experience and the confidence to run tendering activity in a clear, supportive way.

You'll be a natural people person who enjoys building relationships, listening, and helping colleagues feel comfortable with the process.

Being self-motivated and able to use your initiative is key, as you'll often be juggling multiple projects and priorities at once.

If you're someone who stays organised, communicates well, and enjoys working collaboratively in a friendly, social-housing environment, you'll fit in brilliantly

In return we can offer you:
  • Belonging to a team who make a difference to our community and value equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 3 concessionary days at Christmas
  • Comprehensive employee assistance program.
  • Ongoing training and development in your role.
  • A full benefits and discounts platform.
  • Holiday buy, tech and annual saving schemes.
  • Volunteer days.
  • Competitive rates of pay.
  • A generous company pension scheme.
  • Wellbeing and stay safe provisions to look after you at work.
