Job Description

As the Supply Chain & Procurement (SCP) team at group level is undergoing some strutural changes, we set a new ambition for our procurement activities by creating a dedicated team to drive the implementation of a robust category management strategy for key spending areas: Services, CAPEX & MRO and Transport.

Reporting to our SCP Director, you will shape and execute the procurement strategy for indirect spend categories, to ensure cost-effective, reliable and sustaiianble supply to our business. This role is highly cross-functional and requires strong ability to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders. This new role should also deliver measurable cost savings across multiple spend categories.

You'll manage a team of 7 person, including 4 direct reports.

Your main responsabilities will be :

Strategic Sourcing and Category Management :
  • Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy across all categories.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage preferred suppliers across regions to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  • Lead supplier contract negotiations with our top suppliers, including framework agreements and multi-site supply coverage.
  • Implement category management best practices to drive continuous improvement in inventory optimization, and total cost of ownership.
  • Serve as an expert and trusted advisor for all regional procurement teams, ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of their actions.

Cost, Value, and Sustainability Optimization :
  • Lead enterprise-wide cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
  • Source and qualify alternative materials and suppliers to enhance competitiveness and supply resilience.
  • Embed sustainability principles into sourcing strategies, including organic and regenerative input standards.
  • Quantify and report cost savings, cost avoidance, and total procurement value delivered.
  • Develop supplier scorecards and executive dashboards for procurement performance.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Operational Integration:
  • Act as a key interface between procurement, operations and finance to optimize working capital and cost structure.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, ensuring that procurement supports innovation and business strategy.
  • Foster a collaborative, hands-on culture, leading by example and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

You have :
  • A MS degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain or Procurement. Marketing degree and experience in revenue generation could also be a good fit.
  • 10+ years' experience in procurement or business supply chain roles within a multinational company, preferably in industrial sector with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • An advanced skills in spend analysis, cost modeling, and KPI dashboards.
  • A global mindset with hands-on leadership.
  • Strong communicator across technical and business functions (effectively with counterparts from diverse cultural backgrounds).
  • Ability to synthetisze key messages, risks and ops will be essentials.
