You will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for both strategic projects and business-as-usual (BAU) work to support the operation of our live casino studios based in Malta. You will leverage your expertise in sourcing, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. In this role, you will need strong analytical skills and proven experience in procurement, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing the demands of ongoing operations with new project requirements.

Role & Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for both strategic projects and business-as-usual (BAU) work to support the operation of our live casino studios based in Malta. You will leverage your expertise in sourcing, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. In this role, you will need strong analytical skills and proven experience in procurement, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing the demands of ongoing operations with new project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage suppliers for procuring equipment for projects and BAU needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
- Perform pre-engagement due diligence on potential suppliers, including background checks, financial stability reviews, and legal compliance verification.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous supply and service improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance based on KPIs (cost, quality, delivery timelines, compliance, etc.).
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to mitigate potential risks and protect the company's interests.
- Track procurement contracts, including progress, changes, breaches, expiration dates, and renewals.
- Ensure procurement processes are adhered to and comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
- Maintain and update procurement records, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Raise purchase orders and track receipt and spend against POs expected and raised.
- Ensure timely provision of equipment for operations and project implementations.
- Organise collections/delivery slots and liaise with third parties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and monitor progress.
- Support operations with budgets, procurement, assets, and audit functions.
- Assist in cost analysis and budget forecasting for procurement activities.
- Identify opportunities for improving processes to drive efficiencies.
- Participate in the setting up of new suppliers.
- Act as a point of contact for procurement and payment queries, ensuring timely approvals.
- Travel to Malta regularly to collaborate with colleagues and suppliers in-person.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supplier and/or supply chain management.
- Common sense approach with the ability to spot opportunities to simplify and improve processes to drive better results and sound business outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to understand and translate users / customers business requirements into deliverables.
- Strong organisational skills. Highly numerate and having high attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
- Positive, proactive and collaborative team player who is also comfortable working autonomously is a must.
- Personal resilience and capacity to work effectively and stay calm under pressure.
