Job Description

Procurement Associate position in Community and Office Services Department of KFUPM is responsible for execution and management of all procurement requests and payment certificates using Oracle
ERP, ensuring full compliance with KFUPM financial policies and procedures from PR creation until final
payment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) in Oracle ERP.
  • Follow up PR approvals as per delegated authorities.
  • Review scope of work, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Follow up conversion of PRs into Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Coordinate with technical departments for corrections or clarifications.
  • Monitor contracts and POs in terms of value, quantities, and duration.
  • Review contractors' and suppliers' payment certificates.
  • Process and follow up payments in Oracle until completion.
  • Coordinate with Finance Department to resolve system or documentation issues. Prepare periodic procurement and payment status reports.
  • Maintain proper electronic filing of all documents.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and governance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering (with financial/procurement experience), or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in procurement, ERP systems (preferably Oracle), and payment processing. Prior experience in governmental or semi-governmental entities is preferred.
  • Oracle ERP (Procurement & Finance Modules), full understanding of procurement cycle, contract and BOQ analysis, reporting and data analysis,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel),
  • High attention to detail,
  • Ability to work under pressure,
  • Strong coordination and communication skills,
  • Professional integrity and confidentiality,
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
