The role
Join the Procurement team at The London Clinic where our mission is to deliver outstanding value for money while supporting exceptional patient care. Working across Supply Chain & Operational Procurement, Strategic Procurement, and EBME, we play a critical role in ensuring the hospital has the right products, services and medical equipment in place efficiently, compliantly and cost-effectively.
We are seeking a Data & Procurement Insight Analyst to act as the primary point of contact for procurement data and analysis across the hospital. Partnering with department leads, procurement business partners and buyers, you will validate, interpret and present activity, financial and stock data from PAM and other systems ensuring accurate reporting for senior stakeholders and supporting commercial evaluations, category strategies and operational decisions. This is a pivotal role in strengthening reporting capability, enhancing stock and inventory management, and supporting the successful implementation of Genesis across the supply chain.

Key Duties
- Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused analytics service to Procurement, Finance and clinical teams.
- Own the integrity of procurement and activity data, ensuring reporting is accurate, consistent and decision-ready.
- Produce clear, insightful dashboards and reports covering spend, savings, supplier performance and operational KPIs.
- Provide detailed spend and trend analysis to highlight risks, opportunities and performance improvement areas.
- Translate complex data into meaningful commercial insight that supports confident decision-making.
- Investigate and explain variances in spend or activity, identifying root causes and practical solutions.
- Support category strategies through pricing, product usage and supplier performance analysis.
- Provide robust analysis to inform budgeting, forecasting, business cases and investment decisions.
- Track and evidence savings and value delivery across procurement initiatives.
- Act as the primary analytical partner for designated departments, aligning insight to operational priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement Business Partners and Finance to support tenders, projects and strategic initiatives.
- Strengthen data quality and reporting processes, optimising the use of PAM and associated systems.
- Support effective stock and product data management through accurate item and inventory analysis.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across procurement reporting and insight capability.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience analysing large, complex datasets within a commercial, finance, procurement or healthcare environment.
- Strong experience producing clear, insightful reports and dashboards for a range of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to validate data, maintain data quality and resolve discrepancies across multiple systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables for large dataset analysis.
- Experience using Power BI (or a similar BI tool) to navigate, filter and interpret dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to identify trends, interpret findings and translate data into meaningful insight.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to data integrity.
- Confident communicator, able to present complex information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience building effective working relationships across Finance, Procurement and operational teams.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
