About the Job

Job Title: Junior Procurement Engineer

Location: Corporate Office - Doha

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Industrial) or related field.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience in construction materials, industrial supply, trading, or related industry preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP procurement systems is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

Procurement Operations:

• Process purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders as per company procedures.
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for material delivery.

Supplier Management:

• Communicate with approved vendors for quotations and follow-ups.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance (price, quality, delivery).
• Support the identification of alternative suppliers.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Coordinate with engineering and project teams for material requirements.
• Liaise with finance for invoice verification and payment follow-up.
• Support internal departments with sourcing requirements.

Key Skills:

• Understanding of the procurement cycle and vendor management.
• Basic negotiation skills.
• ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle / D365 or similar).
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach.
